Peter Hern has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on healthcare, banking, sales, and service sectors. He specializes in reducing costs, improving processes, and driving revenue growth. Before joining ERA Group as a consulting partner, Peter served as a director in a Level III trauma center and currently owns a small business providing custom window treatments. His expertise includes hospital revenue cycle management (RCM) - particularly Medicaid and non-MA government payers - finance, sales, call center and team management, project leadership, and business cost optimization.
Peter has led numerous initiatives to streamline operations, redesign organizational structures, and implement efficiency-driven processes that inspire growth and profitability. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business. Outside of work, Peter married with four great kids, is active in his community, volunteering at his church and a local food bank, and enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
