Supplier to the oil & offshore industry reduces its freight costs by €220,000
GS Hydro (*) is a world-leading supplier of innovative, non-welded pipe solutions for systems with high demands on quality, reliability and purity. From its main warehouse outside Oslo, GS Hydro distributes its products to customers in the marine industry and oil & offshore industry throughout Norway, as well as exporting to the rest of the world. During the downturn in the oil market in 2017, the management of GS Hydro Norway was tasked with optimising freight costs, among other things.
ERA Group was given the task of doing this job. In addition to local distribution in Norway, ERA was given the task of local distribution in the Nordic region as well as global parcel and express shipping.
