BAUER Maschinen GmbH designs and manufactures rotary drilling rigs, diaphragm wall machines and tools of all kinds. The machines are used for specialised civil engineering as well as for the exploration, development and extraction of natural resources. Based on successful previous projects, the company commissioned ERA Group to analyse and optimise its temporary staffing operations.
In the middle of the project, BAUER was hit by the pandemic. Many of the assumptions made previously were now obsolete. Since then, the number of temporary workers required has fluctuated considerably. ERA Group adapted the ongoing project to the new conditions and changed its priorities.
